Position Summary: This role will support engineering design and development activities for automotive sheet metal and battery structures components.   Essential Duties (This list is not exhaustive and other duties may be assigned): -  Lead and support the engineering activities for large scale product development programs by investigating feasibility, performing design using 3-D modeling software, conduct layout review and 2D drawing creation. - Analyze and resolve problems with moderate level of guidance and direction.   - Create part specification requirements and BOM. - Negotiate with surrounding component business units and suppliers. - Search new ways to increase overall efficiency, utilize up-to-date technology, and reduce design and parts costs.  - Travel to client sites required.    

Position Summary: This role will analyze engineering data to support electrified powertrain research and development.  Data may originate from a variety of sources: vehicle testing, published certification results, specification books / manuals, surveys.   Essential Duties (This list is not exhaustive and other duties may be assigned): - Lead and support the engineering test activities by applying engineering principles, experiences and various analysis tools in following established test plans/procedures to test parts/components in area of specialty to determine design feasibility and ensure parts/components meet design acceptance criteria, performance level targets and any applicable regulatory/internal standards. - Data organization (sorting, filtering) - Data analysis (statistics, calculation of indexes)   - Graphical representation (bar charts, time series, contour plots, …) - Consulting with other engineers and agreement on results / conclusions - Creation of summary reports - Presentation to other engineers / managers - Travel to client/ test sites required.

Position Summary: This role will support CAE Crashworthiness activities.   Essential Duties (This list is not exhaustive and other duties may be assigned):   • Utilize Hypermesh and Ansa for preprocessing tasks and meshing. • Responsible for full vehicle crash analyst using LS-DYNA as pre-processor / post-processor tools (ANSA and Meta-Post) for complex vehicle model construction and visualization.  • Must be able to optimize and correlate analyses with real world test results. • Communicates effectively within the group about issues, and outside the group to accomplish goals. • Analyze and resolve problems with moderate level of guidance and direction. • Utilizes Excel to create and update project schedules. • Travel to client site required.

Develop strategy, which aligns engineering services across automotive, aerospace and potentially other industries. Responsible for professional development of engineering team members and project leads by mentoring and evaluating performance. Function as an Engineering Subject Matter Expert and lead development of engineering project proposals for current and prospective clients. Negotiate with clients on engineering project milestones and deliverables. Collaborate with cross-functional groups to implement the proposals on time and meet or exceed clients QCD expectations. Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Business Development to facilitate the expansion of engineering services provided to existing clients, and to analyze trends and data to accurately anticipate current and prospective client tendencies. Position Summary: This role will participate in and lead engine calibration related Early Detection / Early Resolution (EDER) activities for North American market vehicles.   Essential Duties (This list is not exhaustive and other duties may be assigned): - Participate and lead in diagnosing engine calibration related field issues for North American market vehicles.   - Analyze various types of data and reports. Develop new procedures and tools for testing, data analysis, and calibration.   - Travel to dealerships/region offices located anywhere in the US with short notice for Go and See activity.   - Prepare and manage issues list and resource schedules to meet deadlines.   - Provide technical expertise in powertrain calibration to non-powertrain groups.   - Identify, investigate, confirm, report, monitor, track and follow-up until resolution, all engine calibration quality issues.   - Feedback engine calibration market issues to calibration groups.   - Plan and perform tests independently.   - Write technical reports to feedback to other engineers and management.   - Identify failure modes to duplicate customer complaint condition.
